Coca-Cola Amatil New Zealand (Amatil NZ) has won the prestigious gold medal in the 500+ Employees category at the HRD Employer of Choice Awards 2019.

The inaugural awards reveal New Zealand’s top-ranking employers in terms of overall experience. Amatil NZ was recognised for its excellent results in key areas including work-life balance, recruitment, career progression, training & development, health & well being and access to technology & resources.

Susan Lowe, GM of People & Culture at Coca-Cola Amatil says it’s great to be recognised by HRD for the company’s efforts on doing right by its people.

“With more than a thousand people across New Zealand, we want all of them to feel a sense of belonging”, says Lowe.

“We understood quite early on that we need to adapt to the needs of our people. That’s why we focus not only listening but acting on employee feedback then using it to shape our priorities and the future of Amatil New Zealand.”

This continues Amatil NZ’s recent string of awards and endorsements in 2019, with the company receiving the Rainbow Tick again in 2019, accredited as an Aon Hewitt Best Employer for the 4th year in a row and recognised globally as one of the best bottlers within The Coca-Cola Company.

Coca-Cola Amatil NZ employs more than a thousand Kiwis and continues to grow its extensive portfolio that includes market leading brands such as Coca-Cola, L&P, Pump and Kiwi Blue water, Monster, Schweppes, Jim Beam, Deep Spring Naturals, Keri juice and organic fruit juice Most.
